Originally intended to be family retreat, it was crucial to the owner that the Boat House was both designed to give all the enjoyment, privacy and to create the comfort of a home. Designed by Fiona Miles, a talented interior designer, the Boat House has been expertly and luxuriously furnished with a chic blend of the old and the new. The villa is truly a home in which each living area boasts style, space and an unparalleled attention to detail.
The combined effect of the location and superb styling of the house and grounds will leave you feeling relaxed and renewed.
BEDROOMS
The four bedrooms each have en suite bathrooms and all give stunning views of the sea and gently curving horseshoe bay. The downstairs bedroom also has access to a private courtyard.
Three of the bedrooms feature King beds while the fourth bedroom has Twin beds.
STAFF & SERVICES
The Boat House comes with its own internationally trained chef and support team (two private butlers) who will be only too delighted to introduce you to the spices, flavours and distinctive taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. Using only the freshest ingredients, along with a selection of exotic spices the chefs can create the perfect accompaniment to the room, the view and the location with food that ensures a 360 degree Sri Lanka experience.

On the southern tip of Sri Lanka, the Boat House is situated amongst carefully designed lush tropical gardens bursting with bougainvillea, palm trees, and frangipani.The Dikwella Bay location allows guests to casually explore the secluded beaches, wildlife sanctuaries and the fascinating history and culture of Southern Sri Lanka. The villa gives direct access to the breathtaking powder-soft beach of Dikwella Bay. This sprawling stretch of beach is preserved by sand bars and coral reefs, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkelling.
