The name translates into ‘moonlight on the cliff’, a fitting and romantic name for this stunning villa.

The traditional Thai-style architecture of vaulted wooden ceilings and peaked roofs complements the light décor, interspersed with splashes of bright colour from original artworks and bespoke furniture. Lofty glass doors flood light into every room, while the glorious 15-metre infinity pool tempts you to leave your worries behind and jump in.

Spend a leisurely holiday at this tropical paradise, served breakfast by smiling staff under the wooden Thai-style sala. Follow that up with a tanning session on sun loungers by the poolside, or watch a movie on the huge 86-inch TV in the family room. After a workout in the fully equipped gym or a soothing spa session, end a perfect day with a stunning sunset and sumptuous seafood barbecue served on the rooftop terrace, cooked just for you by the talented in-villa chef.

VILLA LAYOUT

A stone stairway bordered by lush foliage leads down to reveal an open-plan living room with comfortable seating, a dining table, and kitchen. The impressive master bedroom suite is also on this level. Floor-to-ceiling folding glass doors open up to panoramic seascapes and a 15-metre infinity pool. Adjacent to the pool is a Thai-style sala with an attached barbecue kitchen and a separate shallow plunge pool. From the pool deck, a spiral staircase leads up to the rooftop terrace, furnished for a sunset tipple. Accessed by an elevator and exterior steps, the lower level offers three more bedrooms, a large family entertainment room, and a fitness room with a spa/massage area.

INDOOR LIVING

At the heart of Villa Chan Paa is the generously-sized open-plan living area featuring plump sofas arranged around a stylish black-glass coffee table with a TV and entertainment unit. A dining table for ten diners, also with black glass, is surrounded by white leather upholstered chairs. This, along with two bright-orange rocking chairs offers a contemporary setting to take in the beautiful sea views and tropical surroundings. Set just behind is a full-service guest kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools.

On the lower level, find a family entertainment room with an 86-inch Smart TV, sprawling sofas and plenty of space for kids to play. Just along the corridor is a room dedicated to fitness and health, fully equipped with gym apparatus, yoga mats, and a screened off spa area with a massage bed for soothing post-workout relief treatments. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead onto a private balcony, allowing plenty of air and light into this spacious room.

OUTDOOR LIVING

The outdoor areas of Villa Chan Paa have been designed with total relaxation and comfort in mind. A wooden deck extends across the front of the villa, where you can recline on comfortable sun loungers or cool off in the 15-metre turquoise-tiled infinity pool. Enjoy alfresco dining under the shade of the elegant sala or take a nap on the daybed, there’s no reason to rush about while on holiday at Villa Chan Paa. A shallow plunge pool is great for kids to cool off, and the viewing terrace on the upper level is the perfect spot to view sunsets and for enjoying magnificent views of Naithon Beach and the Andaman Sea.

BEDROOMS

All four luxurious bedrooms in Villa Chan Paa are bright and cosy, with teak wood floors. Tastefully furnished with a writing desk and chair, dressing table, built-in closets and Smart TV, each is different in its décor, yet all feature original artwork. Glass doors open up to superb sea views and private balconies, while pull-down blinds allow you to indulge in an afternoon nap.

Master Bedroom
Situated on the upper level next to the living area, the romantic master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed set against a stylish upholstered headboard. A separate dressing area leads into a large bathroom with double vanity sinks and a soaking bathtub. The rain shower has direct access to the pool terrace and sea views through glass doors, ideal for guests who enjoy an early morning swim.

Guest Bedroom 1
Located one level below, this airy king-size bedroom offers cool respite after a day in the sun. The ensuite bathroom has a double vanity and a bidet. While staying here, you can soak in a bubble bath in the stand-alone bathtub or gaze at the endless sea views from the rain shower.

Guest Bedrooms 2 & 3
Also located on the lower level, these two elegant guest bedrooms mirror each other with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms offering double vanity sinks and rain showers.

STAFF

Villa Manager; chef, housekeeping and service staff; 24-hour estate security. Additional staff such as nanny/babysitter, masseuse and driver are available upon request at extra charge.

DINING

Enjoy delicious Thai cuisine prepared by your very own chef at Villa Chan Paa. The villa offers a suggestion menu and the chef is happy to recommend and adapt dishes for special dietary requirements and preferences. Children’s meals can also be catered for, just talk to the Villa Manager or chef about what your tots like to eat.

Although the chef can prepare tasty international dishes, don’t miss out on the unique flavours of Thai food. As chef to prepare Goong Sarong, a traditional Phuket dish featuring deep fried prawns wrapped in vermicelli noodles, or share a whole fish with the family, pan fried and served with chilli sauce. The tropical climate makes for perfect barbecue weather so why not indulge in a poolside barbecue with a selection of flame-grilled seafood or juicy succulent meats?

Breakfast is included in the villa rate. If you wish to have lunch or dinner in the villa too, just inform the Villa Manager and they’ll make appropriate arrangements. Plan meals at least a day in advance so that there is time to shop and prep. All provisions are charged at cost plus a 20% handling fee and a government tax. It is also requested that the chef be given a ‘float’ to cover the grocery shopping.

If you would like to cook for yourself, though with an in-villa chef there really is no need to, there is a fully-fitted modern kitchen available for your use. Just give the Villa Manager a list of the ingredients that you require and they will be procured for you (charged at cost plus a modest fee to cover petrol costs).

FAMILIES

Families will adore Villa Chan Paa for its large open spaces and friendly team of staff. The open-plan living area, large cosy sofas, and shaded sala provide plenty of safe spaces to play, while the shallow plunge pool offers hours of water fun.

The family room has an 86-inch TV, toys, and plenty of space, while a selection of games will keep the youngsters entertained when the sun gets too hot. An elevator between the two main floors is convenient, making it easy for the elderly and parents with babies to move around the house. All the guest bedrooms have ensuites and are equipped with TVs.

You are welcome to use the kitchen, although with a skilled chef at your disposal, you may not feel the need to. Breakfast is included and children are sure to love the Thai dishes like satay chicken skewers and noodles.

Don’t worry about bringing heavy kids’ equipment with you. A baby cot and high chair can be provided on request, and other necessary items may be hired from reputable local agencies for a small charge. The team welcomes children, nothing is too much trouble and their aim is that everyone has a great time. Babysitters, both full or part-time, can be arranged on request (with advance notice and at an extra cost).

SPA

Villa Chan Paa has a separate fitness room for you to keep in shape while on holiday. Regardless of whether you are here for a weekend break or a month-long stay, having your own personal gym is a luxury that you will appreciate.

The fitness room features the latest gym equipment, including hand weights, a treadmill, exercise bike and weight machine. There is a large TV in the room to play peppy music while you work out. Yoga mats are available for your use, with plenty of space to practice your asanas, though you could always take a mat to your own private balcony and admire the blissful views while stretching out. The Villa Manager can organise a personal trainer or yoga instructor to come to the villa if required.

The room also has a massage bed where you could get a relaxing massage after your workout. The Villa Manager can arrange for local wellness specialists to come to the villa and attend to your group. A variety of wellness and beauty treatments are offered (extra charge).
