Villa Sukham

Villa Sukham is part of the exclusive Narayan Heights gated estate, along the prime hillside of Koh Samui’s strategic north-east coast, with a sensational 180-degree view of beautiful Choeng Mon Bay and the renowned beaches of Chaweng.

This contemporary style villa is set in a private garden with six double ensuite bedrooms which capitalise on the marvellous views. Quirky design elements lend a sense of play, with bicycles, fishing rods and oars mounted on stark walls.

A great holiday home for families and groups of friends of up to 12, there’s never a dull moment here with a billiards table, games room and home cinema to keep everyone occupied. Convenient to the hilt, it is mere minutes away from the international airport and the vibrant tourist areas of Chaweng and Bophut.

Access to the villa is via a delightful koi pond filled with lilies and exotic plants. Once inside, a spectacular view of the infinity pool and coastline unfolds. Here, you will find a bright and spacious, marble-floored living room that opens up onto the pool terrace. Social evenings can be spent here, relaxing on comfortable white sofas and easy chairs. And furnished with a bar and elegant dining table for 10, all your drinking and dining needs are taken care of with ease.

Spend lazy days relaxing in the sun by the 12-metre L-shaped pool stretching along almost the entire width of the villa. Cool down with a swim, catch a tan on the sun loungers or just head a few steps down to the lawned terrace where you can curl up with a book while enjoying views of the green Arabian Sea. The villa’s attentive staff will take care of your every need, and a professional chef can be hired who will whip up delicacies worthy of a five-star dining experience.

A seductive villa built along modern lines and multiple levels, it boasts floor-to-ceiling glass doors which can be pulled back when you wish to smell the salt in the air. There’s nothing more romantic than a moonlight evening spent on a terrace, the sea breeze in your hair, hand-in-hand with your partner as you gaze at the seemingly endless sea views.

Located adjacent to the main living area on the central level. Direct access to the pool sun deck. King-size bed and sitting area. Glorious sea views. Ensuite bathroom with single vanity and a separate walk-in rain shower. Ample wardrobe and dressing space with a personal locker. Flat-screen satellite/cable TV, air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

Guest Bedrooms 1, 2 & 3
Located on the top level of the villa. Double rooms, all with king-size beds and sitting areas. Glass doors opening onto a wide terrace overlooking the pool, with stunning sea views. Spacious ensuite bathrooms with wide vanities and separate walk-in rain showers. Ample wardrobe and dressing space with a personal locker. STAFF

You can look forward to a stress-free holiday at Villa Sukham as all your needs are taken care of by the villa staff. If you like to plan in advance, you can even pre-order all your groceries, drinks and other supplies ahead of your visit. Alternatively, your Villa Manager will be there to greet you on arrival and all your requirements can be discussed in detail. A private chef for the entirety of your stay, or a part of it, can also be arranged.

The staff members will tailor their presence according to your preference. Do discuss with the Villa Manager how much face time you prefer. Additional staff such as a babysitter or drivers are also available on request, for an extra charge.

Villa Manager
Your dedicated Villa Manager is highly experienced and well connected locally. She will oversee the running of the villa and make it her business to ensure that you and your group enjoy the villa and get to relax. She will also liaise with the other staff members, and arrange for a chef if required.

Housekeeping Attendants
The housekeeping staff takes care of daily room cleaning. Bed and bath linens are changed every third day, or as required. They will also attend to in-house laundry for guests and provide a nightly turndown service, arranging for aromatic oil burners and bedside water.

Gardener
The beautiful gardens surrounding Villa Sukham are testament to the skills of this important member of the team.

Private Chef
A private chef can be hired for a nominal fee to take care of your dining needs. The chef is adept in Thai cuisine as well as numerous other western and Asian cuisines, and can customise dishes to suit your preferences.

DINING

The Villa Manager doubles up as a cook when required, and can prepare delicious, authentic Thai meals as well as popular international dishes. She will be pleased to accommodate your wishes as far as possible, including requests for special diets and children’s favourites.

Your day at Villa Sukham begins with a buffet-style breakfast served in the main area with freshly cooked eggs and other accompaniments.

For a casual lunch by the pool, you can enjoy popular Thai favourites such as Phad Thai (Thai noodles), Satay, Yum Woon Sen (glass noodle salad) or Som Tam (green papaya salad). Pair that with a light coconut curry, or if you prefer, western dishes such as salads, pastas, pizzas and grills.

In the evenings, you can opt for a more formal menu to be served in the main dining room, or enjoy a casual barbecue on the pool terrace.

The Villa Manager will take care of shopping for groceries and beverages which can be ordered in advance, and which are charged at market price (plus a 30% shopping fee, rates before 10% service charge and 7% VAT).
