VILLA LAYOUT

Amanzi Kamala is arranged over three levels with two top-floor wings housing the master suite and three guest bedrooms. The middle floor and entry level is the social heart of the villa, with the open-plan living and dining room set in front of a landscaped garden, and the pool, terrace and barbecue entertaining area extending towards the sea. Adjacent to this is the guest kitchen, featuring an outdoor dining table on a balcony to the front. Two more guest bedrooms occupy the villa’s lower floor, along with the family/games room and a large bathroom with jacuzzi.

Indoor Living
Describing Amanzi’s main living and dining room as ‘indoor’ doesn’t quite capture the essence of this spectacular space, which, even when its huge glass doors are slid shut and the air-con switched on, feels like an extension of its tropical surrounds. This uncluttered area is simply furnished with an L-shaped sofa and a picnic-style wooden dining table, with soft, subtle tones letting the eyes rest after all those hours spent gazing out to the glittering sea and pool panorama. The adjacent guest kitchen is a no-fuss space too, with crisp white accents and a dining table for eight offering a cool, calm place to gather for breakfast. The chef’s kitchen is hidden away behind the guest kitchen, while downstairs the family/games room boasts an Apple TV entertainment system, pool table, table tennis and more.

Outdoor Living
Amanzi’s much-photographed pool is the defining feature of the villa, with its 15-metre length extending towards the sea creating an eye-catching illusion of floating in the air. A sunbed-lined deck, lawns and a barbecue entertaining area set around the pool offer a perfect setting for a cocktail party or small wedding ceremony. Behind the living room is a sloped landscaped garden area with a stunning white Buddha statue.

BEDROOMS

Master Suite
With prime sea views from its top-floor setting, the master suite is a bright, spacious retreat with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to a wraparound balcony. Enjoy blissful soaks in the terrazzo bathtub on the balcony, or relax on the king-sized bed to the sound of the ocean. This romantic air-conditioned haven also features an Apple TV entertainment unit and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a shower.

Guest Bedrooms
All five of the villa’s sleek minimalist guest bedrooms offer superb sea views and private or shared balconies. Three rooms overlook the pool from the top-floor, while two more are located next to the family room on the lower floor. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and the three upper rooms are equipped with TVs. Three bedrooms are furnished with convertible twin/king beds, giving families and groups plenty of flexibility in sleeping arrangements.
