Part of an estate on the west coast of Phuket, Villa Chada is positioned on the headland of Kamala Bay. Overlooking the clear waters of the Andaman Sea, four stand-alone pavilions are tastefully decorated with Thai artefacts and artworks, framed by tall tropical trees and surrounded by a well-maintained garden interspersed with water features.
This villa is exceptional for its free-form 16-metre infinity pool, delightful lotus ponds and remarkable sea views. Its wide stone terraces, six bedrooms and extensive grounds offer plenty of space for guests to enjoy some alone time, while the staff, including a talented private chef, is always on hand to take care of your every need.
From the moment you lay eyes on Villa Chada you will be enchanted with its elegance and peaceful splendour. Sandstone walkways lead you around the spectacular gardens revealing immaculate lawns and lotus ponds guarded over by gargoyles. Casuarina and coconut trees soar into the sky and stone statues and authentic wood carvings transport you back to ancient times.
This classic villa, named after a traditional Thai headdress, has four peak-roofed pavilions spread out around the grounds, a perfect retreat for groups of friends and families with teenage children. The classical architecture along with the high ceilings, polished wood floors and antique objects of art, collected over the years by the owner, create an interesting ambience.
What really sets this six-bedroom villa apart from others is the 16-metre pool, extending towards the sea -it’s an alluring focal point. The pool and living pavilions create open comfortable spaces that bring everyone together, as does the master suite’s wraparound terrace, an idyllic spot to gather and watch the sun slowly descend into the horizon.
A dedicated service team is available during your stay, including a manager to help with bookings, reservations and transport, while the full-time private chef works his magic in the kitchen delivering dishes with authentic Thai flavours.
This stunning villa has a real chilled-out appeal, ideal for unwinding, soaking up the sun’s rays and sprawling on comfortable sofas watching movies or playing board games. It’s always fun to explore when on holiday too, just below the villa beckons the estate’s private beach, ideal for snorkelling, or you could venture to a neighbouring luxury resort for a sunset signature cocktail at the rooftop bar. Also within easy reach by car is the laid-back Kamala Beach and the infamous nightlife of Patong Beach.
VILLA LAYOUT
A stone stairway leads up to Villa Chada, opening up to tropical gardens linked by walkways. On the left is a stand-alone pavilion containing two connecting guest bedrooms. Following the walkway to the right is the family room with views of the pool and ocean. The pool is framed by a large timber deck with four double-sized sun loungers. At the far end is the master suite with a wraparound terrace. Another two guest bedrooms are located on the lower floor accessed by steps from the pool area.
LIVING AREAS

The master suite features a large shaded wraparound terrace with a tempting teak daybed, to meet over sunset drinks or to unwind, relax and admire the lush landscape.
The extensive tropical garden invites you to sit back and enjoy the vista. Two ponds covered with lotus flowers are brimming with fish and the lawns are trimmed and immaculate. Frangipani and bougainvillea scent the landscape whilst coconut and casuarina trees sway gently in the sea breeze

STAFF
One of the main benefits of staying in a villa is a team of staff to take care of everything. At Villa Chada, the team is highly-trained to ensure there are no glitches in your dream holiday, and they do it all with a warm smile. Every guest is different, some prefer staff to always be on hand, whilst others prefer more privacy and only require staff to be around at mealtimes. The choice is yours, just let your villa manager know your preferences on arrival.
Villa Manager
Villa Chada’s approachable manager oversees everything that goes on at the villa. His job is to organize the staff and manage the property so everything runs smoothly and guests enjoy every aspect of their holiday.
Chef
Specialising in Thai cuisine, the villa’s experienced private chef has the role of organising grocery and market shopping and preparation of guest meals. The chef is happy to make suggestions from the menu, and will also accommodate international dishes, special requests and dietary requirements.
Villa Attendants
The villa team has daily attendants to maintain the high standards of cleanliness. Besides keeping everything sparkling, they also assist in the kitchen at mealtimes and help serve meals.
Garden & Pool
Gardeners attend to Villa Chada’s lavish gardens and maintain the swimming pool.
Security
Villa Chada is kept safe and secure 24 hours a day by a team of security staff.
DINING
At Villa Chada, you have a private chef to prepare all your daily meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The villa has a suggested menu of Thai dishes and breakfast options and accepts international requests. Meals are cooked fresh on order and can be varied to accommodate your personal preferences.
The chef can adapt dishes for vegetarian options and any other specific dietary requirements. Parents can discuss options for children with the chef personally.
You will love the chef’s signature dishes like Goong Sarong, a traditional Phuket dish of deep-fried prawns wrapped in vermicelli noodles, Pad Krapao, stir-fried mince chicken or pork with hot basil leaves and delicious mango with sticky rice drizzled with sweet coconut milk.
Guests are charged for the groceries and beverages at market price (plus a 20% handling fee which is subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate). It is best if you provide the money to buy the groceries in advance, the team shall then do everything else - the shopping and cooking. They will retain any receipts for your reference, if required. Generally, to give the team enough time to shop and prepare, the meals are ideally planned the evening before.
FAMILIES
Villa Chada is a great location for families with young adults as the grounds are extensive, with lots of grassy areas for high-energy games. The pool is also large enough for kids to splash around or swim in. The family room has a large flat-screen TV set up with a DVD player to keep them entertained in the evenings.
The villa has a reliable and friendly team of staff whose role is to help you have a great holiday and they are always available on hand to help keep an eye on the children. The villa manager can also arrange child-minding or babysitting services with advance notice and at an extra cost.
A fully equipped kitchen is available for your use if you wish to prepare special meals for the children. More extravagant meals can be prepared by the chef at an extra cost.
You don’t need to bring everything with you on your holiday. If travelling with an infant, the villa can supply a baby cot and high chair for a small hire fee, and if other equipment is required, we can arrange that for you too.

Villa Chada is part of the exceptional Laemson Estate, extending across the headland of ‘Millionaire’s Mile’ at the northern end of Kamala Bay on the west coast of Phuket. Taking a prime position, its sleepy, away-from-it-all ambiance is due to the surrounding forested hills and stunning expanse of the views of the Andaman Sea - everything you would dream of from a tropical villa. Close by is exclusive access to a beach cove ideal for snorkelling, and international hotels for rooftop cocktails at sunset. Three kilometres away is Kamala, traditionally a fishing village with its own golden stretch of beach, whilst further south along the coast is Patong, famous for its busy nightlife and shopping extravaganza. Phuket International Airport is just a 26km drive.
