From the moment you set foot upon the frangipani-lined pathway leading to the villa, a sense of calm unfolds, as you are greeted by a meditative statue of Lord Buddha.

The villa is designed as a collection of pavilions leading up to the sandy beach, with a lavish lap pool running almost along the entire length. Spend your days chatting with friends in the main living salon, with unobstructed views of the beach and large folding glass doors allowing a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. Evenings can be spent on the shared garden terrace, reclining on sun-loungers, or getting a couple Thai massage at the poolside massage sala, with the sound of the waves the only other distraction.

VILLA LAYOUT

Four pavilions are set within a seafront compound. At the centre is a courtyard with a covered seating area, and a staircase descends to the spa and gym one level below.

A 20-metre lap pool extends along one side of the villa towards the common beachfront terrace of the estate. Separate living and dining pavilions are connected by stepping stones over shallow pools. Glass doors fold back, opening onto the estate pool and a series of lawned terraces.

The third pavilion houses the Master Suite and one double ensuite bedroom, opening onto the main courtyard. Three additional guest bedrooms are located in a separate pavilion behind the main villa. These can be accessed via a common area path, and not from indoors.

LIVING AREAS

The living and dining pavilions are the villa’s social hub, overlooking the seafront estate pool, common gardens and the azure sea beyond. Ceiling-high glass doors fold back to connect these two elegant spaces with the common pool and seafront terrace, for spacious modern living all on one level, or they can be closed off for air-conditioned comfort.

Indoor Living

The living pavilion is furnished with a sizeable sofa and comfortable easy chairs, with occasional tables arranged around a statement wooden coffee table facing a giant flat-screen TV.

The dining pavilion features an impressive open-plan modern kitchen with separate service and breakfast counters all finished in black stone, and an elegant glass-topped dining table for up to 10 guests.

An indulgent spa and massage room is located a level below the dining pavilion, adjoining the gym.

Outdoor Living

At Villa Chi, it’s all about the sea views from the villa’s breezy pavilions. The doors can be pulled back to reveal lush tropical gardens shared with the estate, planted with soaring coconut palms, frangipani and other exotic plants.

The common seafront terrace is dotted with sun-loungers and relaxed seating. Running along one side of the length of the villa is a lap pool, ending with the jacuzzi and a shaded massage sala. On the other side are common tropical gardens and a common wooden deck leading down to the beach, and offering access to the estate’s shared beachfront pool.

Languish on the deck all day long, as you enjoy massages, dine alfresco, get a tan or just sip a cocktail as the sun sets. By day or by night, the from Villa Chi Samui is equally enthralling.

BEDROOMS

All five generous and bright bedrooms feature king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms with single or double vanity, as well as walk-in rain showers or bathtubs. The decor of the bedrooms follows that of the rest of the villa, with off-white flooring contrasting with dark wood Thai-inspired furniture. All the bedrooms are air conditioned, and facilities include a ceiling fan, personal safe, flat-screen TV and either Bose or Sony sound systems.

Master Bedroom 1

Connecting to the main courtyard, this spacious and elegant suite features a four-poster bed, as well as an extensive wardrobe and dressing area. A vast, light-filled ensuite bathroom overlooks the pool with views of the sea, and has a free-standing ceramic tub and black stone shower console. The double vanity is finished with the same striking black stone, while a backdrop of tropical plants lend an outdoor vibe to this glamorous space.

Bedroom 2

In the same pavilion as the master, also connecting to the main courtyard, this comfortable double bedroom features a king-size bed and sitting area, along with generous wardrobe space. The ensuite bathroom has a single vanity and walk-in rain shower finished in black stone.

Bedroom 3 & 4

In a separate pavilion towards the rear rest two ground floor double bedrooms, each with its own private garden terrace and sitting area. The king-size beds are comfortable and the room reflects the same natural-light-filled ambiance as the villa’s main pavilion. The ensuite bathrooms are replete with bathtubs and walk-in rain showers, all finished in black stone. These two bedrooms are also self-contained with their own kitchen console with facilities such as a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, coffee making machine , and water dispenser.

Bedroom 5

On the level above, in the same pavilion, a large double bedroom with a king-size bed has its own expansive rooftop terrace with sun loungers, living area and sea view. An ensuite bathroom features a walk-in rain shower and single vanity. The room’s interiors reflect the muted palette of the villa, with accents of turquoise, and a kitchen console with a refrigerator, kettle and coffee making facilities make it self-contained.

STAFF

The sheer luxury of dedicated villa staff is yours to enjoy at Villa Chi. Groceries, drinks and other shopping requests can be organized ahead of your stay or upon arrival (extra charges), your villa manager and team will take care of it all.

The Elite Concierge can also advise on off-site excursions to discover Samui’s numerous attractions, such as island tours or boating trips to offshore islands, as well as arrange for a Thai massage, spa and beauty therapists, or yoga and other fitness instructors to visit you at the villa. You may request your villa manager for any of these as well.

Additional staff such as a nanny or babysitter, and drivers are also available on request, at an extra charge.

Resident Chef
Truly a delight of renting a private holiday villa is your own dedicated chef, and here at Villa Chi Samui, the resident chef is on hand to prepare many of the culinary delights for which Thailand is renowned. Chef purchases ingredients fresh from the local market daily and is skilled in a variety of international cuisines.

Housekeeping Attendants
The housekeeping staff takes care of daily room cleaning with bed and bath linens changed every third day, or as required. They will also attend to in-house laundry for guests and provide a nightly turn-down service, arranging for aromatic oil burners and bedside water bottles.

DINING

The villa’s private chef is skilled in the preparation of delicious, authentic Thai and Western dishes. Guest requests are accommodated as far as possible, including special diets and children’s menus.

Your day at Villa Chi begins with a buffet-style breakfast served in the main dining pavilion with your private chef on hand to prepare freshly cooked eggs and accompaniments.

For a relaxed lunch by the beach, chef can prepare Thai favourites such as Phad Thai (Thai Noodles), Satay, Yum Woon Sen (Glass Noodle Salad) or Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad) accompanied by a light coconut curry, or if you prefer, Western dishes such as salads, pastas, pizzas and grills.

FAMILIES

Villa Chi Samui is perfect for barefoot family holidays. The open-plan layout of the villa and its large beachfront terrace with direct access to the beach makes it easy to keep an eye on the young ones while you relax on your sun lounger or enjoy a swim. Pool toys are aplenty and shaded sunbeds are ideal for keeping kids out of the hot sun.

When it comes to meal time for the young ones, the villa staff is highly experienced in catering to their tastes, producing a wide range of popular favourites, such as pastas and pizzas. High chairs, baby cots, baths and changing mats are provided, while other equipment can be hired for a small fee, so there’s no need to pack them in your luggage.

THE SPA

One of the best parts of a Thai vacation is to indulge in some spa therapy. At Villa Chi Samui, you don’t need to go out to try one of Thailand’s famous massages. The villa staff can arrange for professional therapists to come to the villa at your request, so you can enjoy beauty treatments and massages in the comfort of the villa’s own spa room. With two massage beds, it is a quiet and peaceful sanctuary.

For a touch of the exotic, get an outdoor massage in the poolside sala, which has enough space for two. It is a sublime spot, cooled by sea breeze, and surrounded by tropical greenery.

THE GYM

Don’t let the holiday calories build-up, by taking out time to keep in shape while vacationing here. Villa Chi Samui has its own private gym featuring a range of machines. Get a great cardiovascular workout on the Elliptical Cross Trainer without impacting your joints. Once warmed up, you could also work on those shoulders and arms on the weight machine.

For flexibility and strengthening your core, yoga mats and exercise balls are also available for your use.

The gym adjoins the spa, located one level below the living level of the villa. This affords you privacy, as well as allows you to play music of your choice without disturbing the rest of your group.
