A sanctuary in the heart of traditional Bali, Villa Crystal Castle with 7 air-conditioned bedrooms surrounded by rice fields is the perfect retreat villa in a stunning location only 10 minutes drive from Ubud centre.

Fully staffed Villa Crystal Castle offers a separate palatial master bedroom and 4 large bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, plus two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom in a separate pavilion. Ideal for retreats, six of the double guest bedrooms can be converted into a twin bedroom configuration. Other special villa features include a large 18 metre x 5 metre resort-size pool, a large Yoga Shala, a Spa Treatment Pavilion, a rose quartz and pebble Reflexology Spiral, all situated within the generous 4600 m2 tropical garden.

Upon arrival guests will walk about 300 meters (about 3 minutes) via a small lane through Bali's ancient rice fields leading to the entrance of this peaceful villa sanctuary. Built largely from recycled timbers Villa Crystal Castle has a huge open living area and most rooms gaze upon a Bali jungle view.

With views stretching over the rice fields, the Yoga Shala is made from recycled ironwood, and has a superb recycled teak floor with smooth white stone surround. There are timber features from a 300 year old fishing boat, dug up out of a swamp in Java, and there are no internal posts to interrupt the space. Rich purple mosquito netting flows down from the outside, creating the special elegant ambience of the space. The Heart Shala will enable over 40 yoga students to practise together, or can seat over 100 people.

The Rose Spa will allow you to melt under the hands of our expert massage therapists, and enjoy a range of other treatments.

A U.V. water filtration system has been incorporated into the entire property, including filtering the large swimming pool. A reverse osmosis water drinking system was installed to re-energise the water, which then passes through an amethyst crystal chamber. Villa Crystal Castle has been made extra safe by the use of tempered safety glass throughout and offers a bamboo pool fence that can be set up anytime for the safety of young children. The large Western-style high quality kitchen has all the modern equipment needed.

Villa Crystal Castle’s owners have brought a beautiful natural crystal collection from their world-famous destination, Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens, Byron Bay, Australia. This collection is displayed throughout the property.

A major feature of the property is a rose quartz and pebble reflexology spiral in the centre of the Yoga Shala and Spa retreat space, using dozens of giant pink rose quartz crystals. The spiral is used for healing and rejuvenation.

BEDROOMS

Tara's Temple - Master Bedroom
Be surrounded in opulent luxury in Tara's Temple. This beautiful spacious bedroom, with two full walls of floor to ceiling glass, looks out over the lush jungle below. A statue of Saraswati is the centre piece and in just two steps you are inside the resort sized pool. Featuring an outdoor shower set amongst giant tropical heliconias and an indoor bath with hand shower.

The Carnelian Room
Relax in this gorgeous room featuring a full sized window bed and an area for lounging. This room has a private outdoor bathtub set amongst the lush garden reminding you, you are indeed in Bali! It also has an indoor shower.

The Celestite Room
Spacious and light, this room also features the signature window bed for lounging or reading. With its Samarai themed teak furniture this room has a distinctly Asian feel. It has its own ensuite featuring the bamboo floors and teak furniture seen throughout the villa.

The Citrine Room
Featuring the classic Balinese peaked ceiling, the Citrine Room has a large statue of Shiva as its centre point. Adorned with an original Tibetan Thangka painting, it also looks out over the pool and jungle. This room shares an outdoor bathroom with the Topaz Room.

The Topaz Room
A beautiful simple and smaller room with its large screen tv can also be used as a media room and features the window bed for relaxing. This room shares an outdoor bathroom with the Citrine Room.

The Bungalows
Set in the rice fields and next to the Heart of Yoga Shala, the Tourmaline and Lapis Rooms are luxurious, self contained bungalows with small western style kitchens. Relax on the window bed or out on the verandah and watch the sun go down over the rice paddies. With 180 degree views, these rooms are very peaceful and unique. Here you will witness the slow pace of ancient Bali.

The Heart Shala covers 150 square metres, and is based on a traditional Balinese Wantilan, or community meeting place. With timber features from a 300 year old fishing boat, and a superb recycled teak floor surrounded by smooth white stone, the Heart Shala can sit over 100 people.

THE ROSE QUARTZ SPIRAL

Nestled near the Rose Spa and Heart Shala is a unique and magnificent feature of this property. After shipping 10 tonne of crystals into Bali for the villa, the owners of Villa Crystal Castle had a beautiful rose quartz spiral built. The path was built using pebbles, creating a reflexology walk, which has been known to benefit many physical ailments. Surrounded in a sea of pink rose quartz, you are also doing your body a favor by stimulating the acupuncture points on the soles of your feet.
