INDOOR LIVING

Signature blue and white Moroccan tiles bring a stunning elegance to the villa’s astonishingly large, bright and airy lounge, kitchen and dining areas.

Guests can luxuriate on the oversized sofas, enjoy a meal at the dining table for ten, sip a drink at the bar while watching the private chef in action or steal a quiet moment at one of the many intimate seating areas arranged throughout the room. There’s even a custom-made dining table for the kids. The French doors which run the length of the dining and lounge area can be opened onto the pool and garden to give a wonderful sense of indoor/outdoor living, or closed to provide absolute air conditioned comfort.

The villa’s gourmet kitchen, with its custom-made fittings, imported French appliances (including a state of the art coffee machine), and stunning collection of tableware, is a delight.

After dinner, the air-conditioned entertainment room beckons. Here, guests can make themselves comfortable on the leather sofa and enjoy one of the villa’s extensive collection of DVDs on the 56-inch flat-screen TV.

OUTDOOR LIVING

The villa’s spectacular rooftop lounge, featuring an immaculately landscaped tropical garden, is an ideal place to be embraced by the warm tropical breezes. Whether for high tea in the shade of the gazebo or cocktails and canapés under the stars this space is perfection itself.

At ground level guests can enjoy long, lazy lunches poolside or settle back onto the canopied daybed, romantically positioned below a beautifully scented frangipani tree. Eight custom-made rattan sun loungers, exotically upholstered in purple and shaded by equally exotic umbrellas, face the 20-metre swimming pool which has a stunning waterfall feature and a specially designed children’s swimming area.

Private outdoor space is thoughtfully offered alongside each bedroom courtesy of furnished terraces or first floor balconies.

ACCOMMODATION

Blue and white Moroccan-style tiles adorn the floor, while baroque upholstered armchairs and ornate hurricane lamps and chandeliers bring an exotic vibrancy and glamour to the living area that forms the social hub of this truly superb villa. French doors open the length of the room making it deliciously light filled and airy and allowing spectacular views over the glistening aqua swimming pool and verdant garden. As befitting with a villa of this quality, Sayang d’Amour also boasts a well-equipped entertainment room and a huge gourmet kitchen.

Discretion and privacy are the hallmarks of the two guest bedrooms located on either side of the living area. An elegant internal staircase with blue washed walls leads up to two further guest bedrooms which boast intimate balconies with views over the garden and pool.

The jewel in this villa’s already dazzling crown is a spectacular rooftop garden and lounge. A shady gazebo, the centerpiece of this magical outdoor area, provides the ultimate setting for entertaining and socialising.

Two individual pavilions, nestled within the garden on the far side of the pool, house luxuriously appointed master bedrooms with spectacular views over the garden and pool and back towards the main residence.

BEDROOMS

- Sensation - Master Bedroom
Housed in its own pavilion on the far side of the swimming pool, the enormous master bedroom, a study of light and air, provides guests with a sanctuary that is both opulent and practical. Decorated in pale blues and sea greens, it features a sumptuous canopied king-size bed, Venetian glass dresser, chaise longues, oriental rugs, a writing desk and a daybed strewn with an array of colourful cushions. The ensuite features a magnificent claw footed bath with an overhanging chandelier and shuttered windows to let in the gentle Balinese breezes.

- French Kiss
This spacious bedroom, also located in a stand-alone pavilion within the gardens, features a king size bed with a romantic canopy as well as a writing desk, a sofa with television and DVD player. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a freestanding bathtub, double sinks and both an indoor and a secluded outdoor rain shower within a tropical garden.

- Love and Romance
The two downstairs guest bedrooms, on either side of the main living area, feature exquisite French-style king-size beds. Antique oriental rugs adorn Moroccan tiled floors, resulting in a timeless charm and elegance. On a more practical note, each of the bedrooms has a writing desk and a superbly comfortable sofa providing the ideal place to relax, read a book or watch television or a DVD. The spacious ensuites feature a statement freestanding bathtub, double sinks, special make up lighting on the mirrors and private outdoor showers surrounded by tropical gardens.

- Elegance and Forever
Graceful internal staircases on either side of the living areas lead to the upper floor guest bedrooms each of which is furnished with a pair of double beds adorned with delicate canopies. These wonderfully spacious rooms feature sofas, television and DVD player making them absolute private havens. Ensuites are fitted with a freestanding bathtub, double sinks and special make-up lighting on the mirrors.

STAFF

The team at Villa Sayang d’Amour exude Balinese charm and grace, working together to ensure that your stay is comfortable, relaxed and memorable. The villa manager and chef will be more than happy to discuss any specific requirements with you.

- Full-time manager
The full-time manager, Fran, who hails from America, has lived in Indonesia for many years and is incredibly knowledgeable about Bali. He is in charge of the overall operation of the villa including staffing and will be more than happy to accommodate any special requests or provide information about touring the island.

- Chef
The chef is available upon request and can prepare all your meals should you require. He can accommodate any special dietary requirements with you and discuss and suggest a variety of menu options.

- Housekeeping
A team of housekeepers attends Villa Sayang d’Amour daily to take care of all cleaning and tidying requirements as well as assisting the kitchen at meal times.

- Gardener and pool attendant
The garden and pool at Villa Sayang d’Amour are attended to daily.

- Spa staff/masseuse
Off-site, fully trained therapists will visit the villa on request to provide a range of spa and massage treatments.

- Security
Villa Sayang d’Amour is kept safe by a team of security staff working 24-hours on rotating shifts, plus laser security and CCTV.

DINING

Villa Sayang d’Amour’s gourmet kitchen is world class; featuring outstanding custom-made fittings and imported appliances from France. It will come as no surprise that the food presented at the villa is unquestionably first-rate.

Your personal chef is well versed in Indonesian and Western cuisine and will be delighted to discuss any requirements with you. Suggestion menus are available at the villa for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but it is highly recommended that guests meet with the villa manager and chef at the start of their stay to discuss food likes and dislikes (or even food cravings), special dietary needs and meal schedules. An open dialogue will keep both chef and guests happy! It is also necessary to discuss meals in advance (ideally 24 hours) to allow the chef the time he needs to prepare and provision.

- Food and beverage charges
Groceries and beverages are charged at cost price. Guests will be requested to provide grocery money in advance and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference

FOR CHILDREN

The family friendly advantages of a villa holiday are many, including access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you want. Knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus – and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday too.

Villa Sayang d’Amour is a great villa for families. Kids will love the wide open spaces – ideal for a game of tag or football, as well as the custom made cubby house located under a shady frangipani tree. The swimming pool features a special shallow section, perfectly designed for the little ones, and a range of pool toys. If the heat becomes too much, cooler alternatives are at hand: the villa is well equipped with children’s DVDs and games and there is plenty of indoor play space.

The team of friendly staff at Villa Sayang d’Amour will make children feel as welcome as adults, and having these willing helpers on hand gives guests plenty of flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitting incurs a small extra cost).

Although the equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals for fussy eaters or babies with ease, staff will happily to do this for you – just talk through your requirements and meal schedules with the villa manager or chef and they will take care of the rest. Banana pancakes by the pool for breakfast? Fish and chips at the rooftop lounge for lunch? No problem. The chef can customise all meals to suit children’s taste buds.
