Room are so excellent,near southern beach rooms located,meals are so delicious. Recommend for alls.

Had the most memorable 2 days of chill and downtime here during a 17 night tour of Sri Lanka. First night in a deluxe sea view room, second night in a villa. Both accommodations were brilliant.The highlight was direct access to Mawella beach, body boarding, dipping in the pool and the quality of the food and service. The breakfast was like no other, freshly made. The Sri Lankan feast was so good, we had it both nights.Having a pool table and other games in a social area was a great touch for the children (and adults to hustle the kids at a game of pool!).As we were here for Poya, we had an extra treat with the new year's festivities!To the staff - keep doing what you are doing, as your service was excellent 👌🏼

We've had the most incredible 5 night stay here at Taru Villas. The whole place is calm and peaceful, with a range of places to relax, swim, and sunbathe.The beach is literally yards from the hotel and is without doubt one of the most beautiful I've ever had the privilege to experience. Very quiet and with plenty of places to eat delicious Sri Lankan food and drink wonderful cocktails.The hotel team is friendly and accommodating and provides a personal service that's second to none. We've had delicious meals and been very well looked after.Rooms are immaculate and well appointed. The pools and grounds are kept in perfect order by the gardening team, and the site feels safe and secure.The team is very conscious of the environment, and there are many steps taken to reduce waste and overconsumption. The trees are full of stunning birdlife.Simply put, this has been the holiday of a lifetime with thanks to the team at Taru Villas!

Very nice and comfortable hotel with direct access to the beach. The staff is professional. The restaurant and breakfast are good. The hotel and the restaurant are expensive. The prices in the restaurant don't include taxes and services, which makes the final bill much higher. The Wi-Fi was not working well (often impossible to open a webpage). The deluxe room is perfect! The veranda room is less equipped and more noisy and also expensive.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at Tara Villas for such a wonderful stay with you. Special thanks goes to Donald who saw to our every need and was truly exceptional! 🌟We stayed in Karumba House which was fabulous! Waking up each morning to the view of the sea and beach at the bottom of the garden and the sound of the waves was magical. The house itself was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The secluded pool in the back was an added bonus!We would highly recommend a stay here.
