The perfect place for people who love comfort, peace and a lot of nature. Very wonderful, lonely beaches to discover nearby. The secluded luxurious hotel has six very nice rooms, very quiet, with wonderful views, very modern and clean. Excellent food. Manager Upul and his team offer very friendly, competent and helpful service. When I come back to Sri Lanka, this place will definitely be back on my list!

The staff were wonderful, especially Upul who helped us organise trips and transport while making sure we had everything to make our stay special the pool is lovely and the rooms are bright and nicely decorated. It is right on the sea front so easy to get to the beach and it is relatively close to a couple of surfing spots. Food and juices are great too - you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is a new hotel and has been decorated and designed so wonderfully. The rooms are comfortable and stylish, and there is a beautiful pool. The staff and service here is 10/10 & the food is so fresh & delicious.It is located on the outskirts of Tangelle in a quiet and tranquil location. Hiriketiya is just 20 mins down the road via Tuktuk or car.As a new hotel, some people may be concerned there are limited reviews yet however you won’t regret booking this place.

A place worth recommending 100%, there is no scale, because 10/10 is not enough. The stay exceeded our wildest expectations. But from the beginning, an intimate hotel, open since October. Located in a quiet area of Tangalle, on a hill by a beautiful beach. The interior and surroundings of the hotel are tastefully decorated, combining Sri Lankan style with modern style. The rooms are spacious with ocean views. The design is refined in every detail. The cuisine is very tasty, with meals prepared only from fresh products and even individually for guests. But the heart of this place is the staff, who take care of you from the moment you cross the threshold. Upul and his team do a wonderful job. If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this place is perfect. It was a wonderful time, which was definitely too short.

Monara hotel is a really special place. A luxury villa, with a handful of rooms and a perfect tropical beach just metres away; it was the perfect place to relax at the end of our Sri Lankan tour. The level of service from all the team was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect ,dinner discussed to our preference and all meals much better than all the restaurants and hotels we had tried on our travels. Location was also spot on with tuk tuks to Hiriketiya or Tangalle readily available. Thank you to all the kind, courteous staff who made our last few days so memorable.
