When I was booking 41 Lighthouse I knew it was going to a wonderful experience, but the actual stay surpassed all my expectations. The property itself is stunning being one of the few villas with a pool inside the Fort. The best part was the impeccable service and care that Ruwan provided. Loved the two days we were there!

We stayed here for 2 nights with family and had the most wonderful time. The villa was stunning and set right in the heart of Galle Fort, in walking distance to everything. Our rooms were lovely and comfy (hot showers with good pressure - hooray!), the common areas were bright and airy, and we enjoyed playing some games of pool and eating together at the dining table. Plus! Having a pool to ourselves was such a luxury after a hot day of exploring. But of course, the most special part of our stay was the housekeeper, Ruwan. Ruwan is the nicest man and an exceptionally hard worker. He was so warm and helpful, and made sure we were looked after at every turn, from early in the morning to late at night - I wish we could give 10 stars for him! If we come back to Galle we will 100% stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for family or group accommodation in Galle.

My family and I stayed here in Galle Fort at Villa 41 Lighthouse St. We had 2 nights and were treated to the very best service by the management team, but especially by Ruwan who looked after us from early morning to late at night. Ruwan made sure we were fed and kept comfortable with hot and cold drinks. He has such a pleasant manner and was so willing to ensure we had our best time here in Galle Fort. We were right in the midst of the fort. We were even given a wonderful fort historical tour by the management. I was helped with some printing and given a quiet place to rest after checking out. The home is grand and comfortable. The pool clean and refreshing. The facilities were kept impeccably clean by Ruwan and well maintained. Our family would come back here for sure if we return to Sri Lanka.

Had a great stay at the 41 Lighthouse Street Villa.Staff is very pleasant, welcoming and accommodating of our requests. Rooms were cozy and had all amenities such as towels, shampoo, etc. Having a pool to ourselves was a good plus point as well, and there were ample common areas and activities within the villa, including a billiard table.Negatives were that if you are coming in a vehicle there is no car park, so you'll need to park on the road (we managed to park right next to the entrance of the villa), and the lack of hand-bidets in many (but not all) of the washrooms.Would I visit again? Yes, most certainly!
