Rental conditions
- Check-in time: 3:00pm - Check-out time: 11:00am - Depending on arrival and departure times, early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees - A security deposit may be payable upon arrival at the property - Only the specified number of guests listed in the Booking Contract at the time of booking may reside on the premises - The main guest is responsible for the behavior of all guests and visitors at the property during the rental period - Children must be supervised by an adult at all times - Fireworks are prohibited in the property, its garden and the beach close by (if any) - No events are permitted on the premises without the property owner's prior approval - We recommend guests have an All-Risk Travel insurance and health insurance prior to travels
Reservation conditions
- A 50% deposit is required within 5 working days after availability confirmation - The remaining 50% balance must be paid 90 days prior to arrival - If the arrival date is within 90 days of the date of the booking request, the total rental amount is payable as a deposit - All rates are quoted in US Dollars (USD) - Local currency payments are accepted in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and SGD - Payments in foreign currencies are subject to currency exchange rate fluctuations and may incur bank and other fees - Additional payment methods (subject to a 4% payment processing fee) include VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and more
Cancellation policy
- Any booking modification or cancellation must be sent to [email protected] - Cancellation policy is applied according to property local time - Whole Villa bookings – If cancelled within 60 days of arrival – the total rental amount will be forfeited - For no-show: 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited - Any change of a confirmed booking is considered as a cancellation - Christmas and New Year Period: All payments will be forfeited

Premium hotel with excellent service (9 rooms and a high staff to guest ratio). Sameera was especially helpful. Really outstanding breakfasts. The beach is just 100m away on the other side of the railway line and is fabulous. I can't help but mention the proximity to the railway line with trains running from 0400 till maybe midnight.

We had an amazing stay at Taru Villas – The Long House in Bentota. With only a small number of rooms, the villa feels wonderfully private and peaceful, and the direct access to a splendid beach is truly special. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the pool is idyllic: perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were elegant and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. A calm, luxurious escape that we would happily return to. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience 😍 The hotel’s location is amazing 👍🏽 The beach is just a one-minute walk away, and there are jungles and a railway nearby. A beautiful, clean, cozy, and spacious hotel! 5 🌟If you get the chance to stay at Taru Villas - The Long House, DO IT!! What an experience to stay here. We got the room with a view of the pool, and it was a stunning piece of luxury.The bedroom was out of this world and the bathroom was super spacious. The hotel is magnificent and the attention to detail in every nook and cranny is a joy to behold.The staff were exceptional and took care of everything that was needed and wanted. Situated near the beach, a short walk and you are on the golden sands. Unfortunately, due to the wind, we were unable to swim in the sea.The breakfast was incredible and I still think about it 3 weeks later.The worst part is that we stayed here at the start of our vacation, and it set the bar incredibly high for the rest of Sri Lanka.

The villa is located in Bentota, 1.2 miles from Bentota Lake.Head south along the Galle Road (A2) from Colombo. Pass through Aluthgama Town and over the Aluthgama/Bentota Bridge and continue for about a kilometre. Just before the 63rd kilometre post, The Long House is clearly marked on your right. Bentota and the South of Sri Lanka offer an abundance of opportunity for activity, sightseeing, and culture. The villa staff will be happy to arrange any activities either prior to or after your arrival.
