Rental conditions
- Check-in time: 3:00pm - Check-out time: 11:00am - Depending on arrival and departure times, early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees - A security deposit may be payable upon arrival at the property - Only the specified number of guests listed in the Booking Contract at the time of booking may reside on the premises - The main guest is responsible for the behavior of all guests and visitors at the property during the rental period - Children must be supervised by an adult at all times - Fireworks are prohibited in the property, its garden and the beach close by (if any) - No events are permitted on the premises without the property owner's prior approval - We recommend guests have an All-Risk Travel insurance and health insurance prior to travels
Reservation conditions
- A 50% deposit is required within 5 working days after availability confirmation - The remaining 50% balance must be paid 90 days prior to arrival - If the arrival date is within 90 days of the date of the booking request, the total rental amount is payable as a deposit - All rates are quoted in US Dollars (USD) - Local currency payments are accepted in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and SGD - Payments in foreign currencies are subject to currency exchange rate fluctuations and may incur bank and other fees - Additional payment methods (subject to a 4% payment processing fee) include VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and more
Cancellation policy
- Any booking modification or cancellation must be sent to [email protected] - Cancellation policy is applied according to property local time - Whole Villa bookings – If cancelled within 60 days of arrival – the total rental amount will be forfeited - For no-show: 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited - Any change of a confirmed booking is considered as a cancellation - Christmas and New Year Period: All payments will be forfeited

A wonderful, small, comfortable and quiet hotel inside Galle Fort. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to meet our needs including a fabulous breakfast. Our room was huge, air-conditioned for comfort, and had a wide balcony overlooking the pool and garden. With sightings of monkeys, squirrels and lizards, and in a lovely leafy setting with a pool and maximum 8 guests, we completely recommend staying at Taru Villas when in Galle.

The staff very one of the best Ive ever experienced! Pure excellence in Sri Lankan hospitality.The room had a nice dutch feel and very spacious.The room was also very nice and the chief takes notes on the needs of its customers for customisations!Both Sri Lankan and western menus were available.The location is killer just minutes to the Galle Fort, Lighthouse and Clock tower!Highly recommend!

The location was wonderful. It is a quiet and chic Paradise in Galle. The staff was exceptional! I would go back to this place over and over again. The food was also delicious. I cannot think of anything that ruined my experience. Everything was simply perfect!!!!!

We stayed here and it was absolutely magical. It’s like staying in a big colonial villa, where the staff treat you wonderfully and make you feel so at home. The food is out of this world, we decided to only eat at the hotel because it was so good and beat anything we could get in the center of Galle. Our only regret was not staying longer - pure paradise. I hope to come back one day.
